Reporting to the Senior Technical Services Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following

Responsibilities:

• To comment on submissions from internal and external parties to ensure the requirements of all

stakeholders are incorporated in all projects

• To take part in generation plant development projects, including preparation of specification,

tendering, design approval, erection, commissioning and handover, as well as end-of-life

decommissioning

• To ensure that equipment supplied by the contractors meets the operational, maintenance,

availability, reliability and safety standards

• To investigate plant defects, design and supervise modifications and improvements to plant facilities

• To review and conduct technical investigations on proposed improvements concerning plant

efficiency, reliability and environmental impact

• To handle innovation projects for improvement of plant safety, efficiency and reliability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related disciplines

• A minimum of 5 years’ work experience in operations or maintenance of power/heavy industries or

projects and site work management of large-scale projects

• Basic knowledge of power generation system, gas facilities and relevant Regulations and Ordinances

• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

• Holder of valid driving license an advantage
