APAC OMR IT – Business Analyst / Project Manager

This role is responsible for leading APAC OMR projects within the Global Markets and ALMT IT trade processing domain. The candidate will drive the decommissioning of the TOKOS application and the transition to the OMR platform, ensuring sustainable and efficient back-office IT operations. The role involves business analysis, project management, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration with global teams to deliver IT solutions aligned with business needs

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Business Analyst / Project Manager for OMR development projects in APAC.
• Lead the TOKOS decommissioning project and transition to the OMR platform.
• Conduct detailed studies, solution definitions, and business analysis on project scope, including accounting, payments, and deal booking processes.
• Manage regional and local initiatives to enhance the back-office IT platform.
• Gather and document business requirements, write BRDs and functional specifications, and define testing strategies.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate project steering meetings.
• Ensure strong stakeholder engagement with business teams, third-party vendors, development teams, and IT support teams.
• Provide tactical solutions for business needs while driving long-term strategic IT enhancements.
• Deliver training and prepare documentation to support project go-live.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in corporate and investment banking back-office trade processing, settlements, and accounting chains.
• Knowledge of FX, Rates, Structured Deposits, Fixed Income, Corporate Loans, and Trade Finance.
• Understanding of the full front-to-back trade lifecycle, including booking, validation, confirmation, settlement, accounting, reconciliation, P&L, and risk calculations.
• Project management experience in delivering large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
