Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) manage the Director's calendar, schedule appointments and coordinate meetings;
(b) prepare and distribute agendas, presentations and other materials for meetings;
(c) handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism;
(d) assist in budget management for the Director, such as tracking expenses and processing invoices;
(e) coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for the Director and other team members when necessary;
(f) act as a liaison between the Director and internal/external stakeholders;
(g) coordinate the submission/provision of data and perform data analysis;
(h) review grant-related contracts and agreements;
(i) provide support for quality assurance and enhancement processes (e.g. Departmental Review), and visits;
(j) draft and proofread correspondence, memos and reports on behalf of the Director; and
(g) perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Educational Development or her delegates.
Qualifications
(a) a recognized degree preferably in Language, Marketing or a related discipline;
(b) at least five years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably gained in the tertiary education sector or similar organizations;
(c) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;
(d) good problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills;
(e) good liaison and organizational skills, with high level of self-motivation and ability to work independently; and
(f) sound knowledge of computer applications.
Candidates shortlisted for interview will be invited to take a written test.
Terms of Employment
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
