Regal Hotels International (RHI) is an internationally renowned hotel group with over 8,200 rooms and approximately 60 restaurants and bars. Looking ahead, we are seeking to recruit college seniors and young professionals as management trainees to join our Future Leaders Program. Those who are selected to join the program will have the opportunity to work under different functions for the next 12-18 months at both property and corporate levels. For our 2024 cohort, up to 10 applicants will be enrolled, broken down into 4 areas of concentration: Operations, Sales, Sustainability, Accounting and Finance.
Irrespective of areas of focus, through a rigorous rotational program, these future leaders of green hospitality will gain an in-depth understanding of hotel operations , develop essential leadership skills and build hands-on experiences in different departments.
Those who have successfully completed the program are expected to become department heads in 1-2 years. Exceptional graduates from our Future Leaders Program will become a General Manager at one of our hotels in 3-5 years.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build strong knowledge base of the hotel industry through group’s lens of various brands and operating environments in and outside Hong Kong
· Contribute to day-to-day operations by rotating through various departments in order to excel in SOPs, service standards and best practices, while elevating service skills and team leader capabilities
· Attend internal and external training, workshops, and management meetings to develop leadership skills
· Lead and execute key projects, resulting in improved customer experience and hotel operations; focused on customer relationship management and business development skills as well as project management and problem-solving capabilities
· Gain an in-depth understanding of supply chain and ecosystem; building up communication and coordination skills cantered on teamwork and general management
· Stay abreast of latest trend and tech in the hotel industry, fostering innovative thinking
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in hotel management, business administration, or related field
· Passionate about the hospitality industry with a long view
· Possess a warm and cheerful personality, be flexible and resilient; great communicator with strong emotional intelligence
· Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues at all levels, with a strong sense of teamwork and potentials to lead
· Committed to service excellence; motivated to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations
· Strong interest in environmental sustainability and green practices; advocate of sustainable development practices in the hotel industry
· Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
