Assistant Merchandising Manager (Silver and Fashion Jewelry)

25-35k (with double pay)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Developing the silver and fashion jewelry collections

Sourcing finished products and components suppliers

Monitor quality and manage suppliers to make sure supplies are in accordance to the requirements

Visit factories and attending exhibitions & fairs

Monitor the suppliers follow the material specification, standards, testing and validation

Work under marketing requirements including quotations, samples and orders follow up

Developing of a suitable suppliers’ strategy and roadmap

Liaise, work and follow up closely with Region / Headquarter in terms of stock request and other related merchandising and stock issues

Ensure logistics flows, shipments and processes are optimized and look for continuous improvement in order to shorten the lead time

Negotiate allocation with Region / HQ to meet assortment and firm orders’ needs

Report to Merchandising Manager & General Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

DSE, F.7 or above

Experience in silver & fashion jewelry development and purchasing is preferred

Experience in diamonds, pearls, stones is an advantage

Organized, systematic oriented and efficient, with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent team work spirit

Ability to pay attention to details and caution to accuracy

Project management skills

Proficiency in written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin

Familiar in using of MS Office

Knowledge of SAP system will be considered as an advantage

Travel to factories in China is required
