Job Description / The Role:

We are currently seeking a seasoned, results-oriented metal futures trader in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for executing and managing the company's proprietary trading and hedging accounts.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Metal Futures Trader to join our Hong Kong team. You will execute and manage our proprietary trading and hedging book.

● Execute futures and options on base metals and minor metals on major exchanges (mainly LME and COMEX).

Execute futures and options trades on major exchanges (primarily LME & COMEX) for base and minor metals.

●Based on macroeconomic, industrial fundamentals, supply and demand data, and market sentiment analysis, formulate and implement trading strategies.

Develop and implement trading strategies through in-depth analysis of macroeconomics, fundamentals, and market sentiment.

● Monitor and manage investment portfolio risk, including daily profit and loss calculation, position reports, and risk exposure analysis.

Collaborate with the physical trading team to structure and execute hedging strategies for inventory and forward contracts.

●Maintain and expand relationships with brokers, banks and market peers.

Requirements / Who You Are:

●Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Metallurgy or related professional Bachelor's degree or above.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Metallurgy, or related field.

● At least 2 years of LME and/or COMEX metal contract real-time trading experience, those with verifiable performance records are preferred.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on trading experience with LME and/or COMEX metal contracts. A verifiable track record is preferred.

● Outstanding quantitative analysis skills, familiar with using relevant market analysis tools.

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in market analysis tools.

●Excellent risk awareness and stress-resistant decision-making ability.

Excellent risk management mindset and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

●Fluent in English (working language), Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred.

●Have the legal right to work in Hong Kong.
