Position Summary We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst/Engineer Lead to support our operations within the built environment and construction sector. In this role, you will transform complex construction data into actionable intelligence, optimizing operational efficiency, project delivery, and executive decision-making. The position demands robust analytical capabilities, mastery of modern data tools, and a solid grasp of construction lifecycle metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Roadmap & Governance: Establish the enterprise data roadmap, defining data governance frameworks, quality benchmarks, compliance protocols, and best practices across construction operations.

• Project Leadership: Oversee end-to-end data initiatives, managing planning, milestone tracking, resource coordination, and final delivery.

• Data Integration & Pipeline Management: Extract, scrub, standardize, and evaluate operational data from diverse inputs, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), job-site reports, and project tracking systems.

• BI & Reporting Solutions: Design and optimize interactive dashboards and executive reports to track critical project benchmarks, covering:

  • Milestone progression and delivery timelines

  • Cost tracking and budgetary variance

  • Labor, plant, and material efficiency

  • On-site safety performance and quality standards

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with project managers, site teams, and department heads to uncover workflow bottlenecks and implement data-backed solutions.

• Advanced Analytics & Risk Modeling: Utilize predictive algorithms, trend forecasting, and statistical models to anticipate project bottlenecks, cost overruns, and commercial opportunities.

• Specialized Analysis: Conduct rapid, ad-hoc investigations to answer critical business inquiries and guide tactical strategy.

• Continuous Innovation: Keep pace with advancements in construction tech, business intelligence platforms, and advanced analytical methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Degree (or higher) in Quantitative Disciplines, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent.

• Work Experience : At least 6 years of solid experience in data modeling, business intelligence, or quantitative analytics; prior domain experience within the construction, real estate, or property industry is highly preferred.

• Leadership: Demonstrated background in steering analytical projects and aligning multi-tier business stakeholders.

• Technical Toolkit:

  • Strong coding and query proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and advanced Microsoft Excel.

  • Practical expertise in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).

• Preferred Competencies:

  • Exposure to predictive modeling, regression analysis, and machine learning workflows.

  • Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).

  • Hands-on knowledge of public cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.

  • Articulate verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences.
