We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager / BD Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. This role focuses on driving software solution sales, especially in key areas such as data middle platforms, data marts, cloud services, and payment regulatory technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of enterprise IT needs within the financial services industry, and a proven track record in managing complex solution sales cycles.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets, with a focus on software and platform-based solutions.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in areas such as data platforms, cloud computing, and payment compliance technologies.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers in the financial services sector to understand their digital transformation goals and propose appropriate IT solutions.
Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure solution alignment and successful project execution.
Prepare compelling proposals, manage commercial negotiations, and close deals.
Stay up to date with industry trends in fintech, regulatory technology, and enterprise architecture to better serve client needs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above from a recognized university.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT solution sales, preferably within enterprise software or platform services.
Proven experience in selling solutions related to data architecture, cloud infrastructure, or payment regulatory compliance.
Strong industry knowledge in financial services, including banking, securities, and payment systems.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Established client network within the IT and/or financial services industries.
Experience working with securities firms, payment institutions, or regulatory bodies will be a strong advantage.
