<p>The Compliance Director is responsible for overseeing the company’s compliance program, ensuring that all operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and reputation of the company, as well as safeguarding its long-term success.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>• Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program that aligns with local and international regulatory requirements.</p><p>• Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to compliance standards.</p><p>• Provide guidance and support to various departments on compliance matters, including the interpretation of regulatory requirements and the implementation of best practices.</p><p>• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and ensure that the company’s policies and procedures are updated accordingly.</p><p>• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for addressing compliance risks and improving overall compliance performance.</p><p>• Maintain and enhance the company’s compliance framework, including policies, procedures, and training programs.</p><p>• Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals, providing mentorship and support to ensure their professional development and effective performance.</p><p>• Represent the company in interactions with regulatory authorities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and communication.</p><p>• Conduct thorough investigations into any potential compliance breaches and take appropriate corrective actions.</p><p>• Foster a culture of compliance within the company, promoting awareness and understanding of compliance requirements among all employees.</p><p>• Oversee compliance matters related to Web3 technologies, ensuring that the company’s operations in this emerging space are fully compliant with relevant regulations and best practices.</p><p>Requirements</p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field. A relevant professional qualification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is highly desirable.</p><p>• Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance roles, preferably within the financial services industry.</p><p>• In-depth knowledge of local and international financial regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), and data protection laws.</p><p>• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance programs in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.</p><p>• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.</p><p>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, regulatory authorities, and employees at all levels.</p><p>• Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a strong team player.</p><p>• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team of compliance professionals.</p><p>• Fluency in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) is essential.</p><p>• Experience with Web3 technologies and related regulatory frameworks is required.
