Solution Architect (Big Data & AI) - Hong Kong SAR

- Job DescriptionSolution Design & Presentation: Create and present Big Data & AI-related solution designs to customers. Develop and expand impactful relationships with customer architects, senior technical decision-makers, and business stakeholders.Reference Architecture Advocacy: Leverage and champion Alibaba Cloud reference architecture approaches to customers/partners. Propose and develop new solutions to scale across multiple customers/partners while demonstrating the business case and presenting alternative scenarios.Customer & Partner Requirements: Understand the unique requirements of customers and partners, and provide appropriate data solutions and architecture designs based on Alibaba Cloud services.Migration Support: Assist Alibaba Cloud customers and partners in migrating their existing Data Analytics systems onto Alibaba Cloud platforms. Provide migration technique support for both data platforms and applications.Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customers or partners by driving new feedback, gaps, blockers, insights, resources, etc., to internal teams to shape products and services by providing insights across the regions.Demo Development & Testing: Responsible for developing demos and testing Alibaba Cloud services.Position RequirementEducational Background: A background in IT, computer science, and/or cloud computing with a good understanding of Big Data & AI technology.Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience working and consulting on Data Architecture design and a strong understanding of customer needs and requirements. Experience working or studying abroad is preferred.Technical Knowledge: Expert knowledge and understanding of Data Architecture design and familiarity with Alibaba Cloud Big Data products and/or open-source Big Data technology such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Flink, Kafka, etc.AI/ML Background: Background and experience in AI/ML technologies.Customer-Facing Roles: Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting roles.Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation and whiteboarding skills, capable of creating documentation that can express architectures using text and diagrams.Adaptability & Strategic Thinking: Able to work under pressure, a quick learner with a passion for cloud technology. Able to think strategically about businesses, products, and technical challenges.Communication & Teamwork: Good communication skills, a good team player, and a professional attitude towards work.Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Mandarin; fluency in Cantonese is a strong plus.Certification: Candidates with Alibaba Cloud certification (ACP or ACE) will be considered first.Travel: Comfortable with traveling to multiple customer locations.
