Our client is a prominent financial services firm dedicated to innovation, integrity, and excellence. As they expand their presence in Hong Kong and beyond, they are looking for a dynamic Head of Finance to lead their finance function and drive strategic growth in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Oversee and mentor a diverse finance team and promoting a culture of collaboration and accountability.

• Financial Governance: Formulate and implement financial strategies that align with business goals while ensuring compliance with SFC regulations and international standards.

• Performance Optimization: Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business decisions.

• Regulatory & Stakeholder Management: Act as the main liaison for auditors, regulators, and partners, ensuring transparent reporting and compliance with regulatory frameworks.

• Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives for process improvements and technology-driven solutions to enhance financial systems, controls, and overall operational efficiency.

• Talent Development: Foster a high-performing team through coaching, professional development, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Over 15 years of progressive experience in financial services or securities, with a strong understanding of Hong Kong’s regulatory environment.

• Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams with an emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and measurable outcomes.

• Experience with Chinese financial institutions and Big 4 audit firms is a MUST.

• A strategic thinker with outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese is preferred.
