Daytime general laborer

Currently, we need to hire a daytime handyman (building maintenance and repair)

Working hours: Sunday Monday to Saturday, working six days a week 08:30 - 18:00

Need to be fluent in Cantonese, able to read Chinese, and hold a safety card and construction worker registration certificate

Salary: 18K - 22K

Working location: Chek Lap Kok Airport

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily maintenance and basic repair of various building facilities in the No. 1 passenger terminal building of Chek Lap Kok Airport, including doors and windows, walls, floor tiles, lighting fixtures and public sanitation equipment, etc.

• Execute regular inspections as instructed by the engineering supervisor, record the facility's condition and immediately report any abnormal problems that require professional treatment.

• Assist in cleaning and repairing the site, moving tools and materials, and sorting and storing them, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

• Comply with airport operating hours and carry out low-impact maintenance during off-peak hours to maintain passenger service quality.

• Follow airport safety regulations and construction safety rules, correctly wear personal protective equipment (such as safety helmets, reflective clothing, etc.), and implement the safety requirements listed on the safety card.

• Able to communicate fluently in Cantonese, with basic Mandarin listening ability; able to read Chinese work instructions, signs, and simple written records.

• Healthy body, with basic physical load capacity, can adapt to standing, bending, ladder climbing and short-distance transportation of light tools and materials.

• Honest and reliable, strong sense of responsibility, able to complete assigned tasks independently, and also able to cooperate with the team, following the airport's strict entry and exit and security procedures.

• Must be a permanent resident of Hong Kong or hold a valid permit to work legally in Hong Kong (such as a dependent visa, IANG, Input Labor Program, etc.), and be able to attend from 08:30 to 18:00 on weekdays.

• Monthly salary of HKD$18,000–$22,000, with flexible bonuses based on performance.
