Part-time Private Tutor (Native English, IB PYP)

Job Highlights:

• Teaching a 5-year-old student from an internation school in Hong Kong

• Working Hours and day: Three times a week, for 1 to 1.5 hours per session

About the Client:

Our client is a prominent family inHong Kongseeking a caring and responsible native English speaker private Tutor to take care of their kid who are studying in the International School in Hong Kong.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a deep understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, and literature.

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ current proficiency levels and learning needs

• Develop customized lesson plans to improve reading, writing, and speaking skills

• Monitor and assess academic progress, providing feedback to parents

• Encourage a love for the English language through engaging activities and discussions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred).

• Minimum 3 years of experience in international schools, teaching/tutoring experience preferred

• Registered Teacher qualification in Hong Kong is a plus

• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably within a family or one-on-one setting

• Strong understanding of international primary school curricula (e.g., IB, Cambridge).

• Responsible, reliable, and able to multitask
