IMS database expert

Requirements:

2. Have relevant experience in database description block (DBD), program specification block (PSB) and program control block (PCB), and be able to define, review, troubleshoot and maintain these components used to define and access database structures;

3. Have in-depth understanding of DL/I data manipulation language calls, and master the database access instructions such as addition (ISRT), deletion (DLET), modification (REPL), and query (GU, GN, GNP);

4. Have relevant experience with IMS database types, including HDAM, HIDAM, HISAM, as well as secondary indexes, logical relationships, and database restructuring;

6. Have data integrity assurance experience, and be able to ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability through mechanisms such as log recording, checkpoint/restart, backup, recovery and consistency control.
