<p>AI / Machine Learning Research Engineer<br><br><br>Job Overview<br>You will spearhead the research and development of AI modules for HomeDash(real estate listing portal), including property‑listing recommendation engines, image classification pipelines, and dynamic pricing models. This is a pure R&D role; all deliverables must contribute to the creation or enhancement of proprietary technology for the real‑estate sector.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br>Computer‑Vision Model Development<br><br><br>Design and train CNN / Vision Transformer models to auto‑tag property images, targeting at least a 30 % increase in recall over the current baseline.<br><br><br>Generative AI Chat Assistant<br><br><br>Build and fine‑tune an LLM‑based conversational agent that enables real‑time Q&A between estate agents and prospective buyers.<br><br><br>End‑to‑End MLOps<br><br><br>Set up and maintain an automated ML pipeline (Kubeflow, SageMaker, or equivalent) covering data ingestion, experiment tracking, model deployment, and online monitoring.<br><br><br>Research Dissemination<br><br><br>Publish internal technical reports and submit papers or posters to local / international conferences to enhance the company’s R&D footprint.<br><br><br>Mentorship & Collaboration<br><br><br>Supervise interns on data collection and experimental design; work closely with product and engineering teams to translate research outcomes into production features.<br><br><br><br>Required Qualifications & Skills<br>STEM Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related) from a recognised university.<br><br><br>Proficiency in Python and deep‑learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.<br><br><br>Hands‑on experience with SQL / data lakes and at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).<br><br><br>Proven ability to design experiments, analyse statistical results, and iterate quickly.<br><br><br>Domain experience in real‑estate analytics, recommender systems, or financial forecasting is a plus.<br><br><br>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & Chinese.<br><br><br>Additional Notes<br>The role is full‑time and R&D‑focused; marketing or routine operational duties are excluded.<br><br><br>Applicants must be eligible to work in Hong Kong for the full contract period.<br><br><br>Ready to advance the PropTech frontier with us?<br><br>Please send your CV, academic transcripts, and a brief portfolio of ML projects to eddie@synergymar.tech with the subject line "AI / Machine Learning Research Engineer".</p>
