Operator

<p>Responsibilities:<br><br>Coordinate all aspects of inland and cross-border trucking for base metals, including cobalt and battery materials</p><p>Manage shipment scheduling, dispatch, and tracking to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency</p><p>Communicate with trucking companies, warehouses, smelters, and terminals to manage pickup and delivery timelines</p><p>Ensure accuracy of shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, customs docs, etc.) and alignment with Incoterms and contractual obligations</p><p>Support traders and operations teams by proactively resolving transportation delays, freight claims, or cargo discrepancies</p><p>Maintain and update internal systems with shipment status, costs, and performance metrics</p><p>Collaborate with finance for freight invoice approvals and settlements</p><p>Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations during the transportation of hazardous or regulated materials</p><p>Work closely with the traffic and trading teams to improve logistics strategies and optimize margins</p><p></p><p></p><p>Requirements:</p><p></p><p>Higher Diploma or above</p><p>2+ years of experience in traffic, trucking coordination, or logistics within the commodities ( metals)</p><p>Strong understanding of North American trucking networks, Incoterms such as FCA and DDP and transportation documentation</p><p>Ability to manage multiple shipments, stakeholders, and systems simultaneously</p><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics systems</p><p>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills</p><p>Knowledge of warehousing, transloading, and international trade logistics a plus</p>
