Job Description:

• Lead technological direction by designing tech architecture, selecting technologies, and strategizing tech development to ensure scalability, security, and performance aligned with business objectives.

• Resolve complex technical issues across the tech stack, provide decision-making, and conduct risk assessments.

• Oversee technical research and development execution, ensuring projects meet deadlines and standards.

• Manage tech risks, including security vulnerabilities and data breaches.

• Lead and manage tech teams, including recruitment, training, motivation, and performance evaluation.

• Stay updated with industry trends, innovate, and contribute technically to the company, including publishing papers.

• Ensure legal compliance with tech practices, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields from a reputable university in Hong Kong or overseas.

• Over 5 years of experience as a R&D Director or CTO.

• Extensive product development experience, solid tech skills, full-stack development capabilities.

• Experience leading large-scale, high-concurrency platform (tens of millions) SaaS projects.

• In-depth knowledge of foundational algorithms, encryption, image and video processing technologies.

• Keen sense of cutting-edge technologies, with a blend of product and technical acumen.
