Merchandiser / Asst. Merchandising Manager - Silver & Fashion Section

Duties:
* Develop silver and fashion jewelry collections
* Source finished products and component suppliers
* Monitor quality and manage suppliers to ensure supplies comply with requirements
* Visit factories, exhibitions & fairs
* Monitor suppliers to adhere to material specifications, standards, testing and validation
* Manage quotations and development samples
* Develop a supplier strategy and roadmap
* Coordinate closely with regions/headquarters regarding stock requests and other merchandise and stock issues
* Negotiate allocations with regions/HQ to meet assortment and firm order needs
* Report to Senior Merchandising Manager & Managing Director
Qualifications:
* Completed DSE, F.7 or above
* Preferably experienced in silver & fashion jewelry development or purchasing
* Position based on experience
* Highly organized, systematic-oriented, and efficient, with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent teamwork spirit
* Attention to detail and precision
* Project management skills
* Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
* Familiarity with MS Office usage
* Advantageous knowledge of SAP system
* May require travel to factories in China or Asia
