Job Description
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites and applications
Assist with developing, managing and maintaining other digital platforms such as web apps, mobile apps and Windows/Mac apps
Design and implement new features and functionalities
Ensure high performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Optimize websites and applications for maximum speed and scalability
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues
Implement and maintain API integrations
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Communicate and collaborate with marketers and trainers for campaigns and product resources
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements:
Experience in back-end development with a focus on WordPress
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies
Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and custom post types
Knowledge of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Knowledge on Hubspot will be an advantage
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Experience with database management and optimization
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to learn new things and in a fast paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
