RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare full set of accounts including financial reports and schedules for month
end and year-end closing (e.g. Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Trial
Balance, General Ledger, Cash Flow, fixed asset register, BS reconciliation, bank
reconciliation,
inter-company balances and transactions reconciliation,
prepayments, accruals, inventory list & reconciliation)
Perform data entry/bookkeeping in compliance with local accounting laws and
relevant regulations including enter all transactions to accounting software ABSS
(MYOB) including journal entries for accruals, prepayments and other relevant
adjustments
Perform day to day operations including issuing sale invoices & delivery order,
record supplier invoices, prepare and record bank payments/receipts, etc
Handling and monitor Account Receivables (AR) and Account Payables (AP) and
issue Statement of Accounts to Sales Team monthly
Liaise with auditor for audit matters and queries
Liaise with Local Authorities, Company Secretary and Tax Agent for management
requirements and business matters as well as statutory reporting.
Prepare weekly/monthly/yearly internal reports as requested by the Management.
Establish and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company
assets and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial records.
Advice Management on relevant legal matters in terms of accounting, taxation, and commercial law
finance.
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you are required to have the following:
Minimum Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in trading/distribution environments
Familiar with accounting and tax laws and regulations, policies and procedures in
Hong Kong
Good command of written & spoken in English and Chinese
Good experience in MYOB, or any other accounting software is a must
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Words, Outlook
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
Meticulous, ethical, respectful, open-minded and possesses positive attitude
Ability to work independently, responsibly, detail-minded, solving problem and
multi-tasks
Report to Regional Finance Manager and Country Manager (Hong Kong)
