Operations Manager

YAX is a licensed virtual asset tradingplatform committed to delivering secure, compliant, and user-centric cryptoservices in Hong Kong. We are now looking for a talented and detail-orientedOperations Manager to strengthen our operations backbone. You will reportdirectly to the Head of Operations and play a central role in ensuring flawlessexecution of custody, settlement, and wallet-related activities — the criticalfoundation that protects our users’ assets and maintains platform reliability everyday.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily custody and settlement operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution of all trade settlements, client deposits, and withdrawals

• Monitor operational flows end-to-end, proactively identify and resolve exceptions / incidents, and coordinate effectively with internal teams, banking partners, and external custodians

• Perform daily reconciliations and maintain monthly regulatory reports

• Anticipate, troubleshoot, and resolve wallet / address-related issues reported by clients in a fast and professional manner

• Continuously review and enhance operational policies, SOPs, and control frameworks to meet evolving SFC regulatory requirements and industry best practices

• Drive process automation and efficiency initiatives that reduce operational risk while improving turnaround time and client experience

• Support internal and external audits, prepare documentation, and assist in regulatory reporting related to custody and settlement activities

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in custody operations, trade settlement, fund operations, or treasury operations (experience in crypto exchanges / digital asset custodians is strongly preferred)

• Prior exposure in Big 4 accounting firms, asset managers, fund houses, licensed financial institutions, or regulated crypto platforms is highly valued

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related discipline

• Solid understanding of cryptocurrency wallets, blockchain transaction flows, on-chain vs off-chain reconciliation, and virtual asset custody risks

• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability under pressure

• Effective communicator — able to liaise confidently with internal stakeholders, banking partners, clients, and regulators

• Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions / VBA is a plus); experience with reconciliation tools, custody software, or blockchain explorers is advantageous
