Homework tutoring class teacher

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for homework tutoring for students from grade 1 to grade 6, including guidance and verification of daily assignments, preview and review content.

• Assist students in silent writing practice and review test range, improve learning effectiveness and test-taking ability.

• Maintain good order during class to ensure a quiet and orderly learning environment that promotes students’ focused study.

• Provide appropriate support to students based on their individual needs, help them understand the focus of the subject and establish good learning habits.

• Cooperate with the organization's arrangements, participate in simple teaching preparation or student progress recording work.

• Graduates of secondary six or above, those with bachelor's degrees are given priority.

• English level must reach Level 4 or above of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, with good English reading and writing abilities.

• Able to communicate fluently in Cantonese, understand Mandarin and English, and those who can do so are better.

• Have basic classroom management skills, able to effectively guide students to follow orders and focus on learning.

• Holding a permanent Hong Kong resident identity, or meeting the eligibility criteria for the high-end talent pass, the excellent talent plan, the IANG visa, the dependent visa or other legal work permit qualifications.

• Hourly rate $75 to $90, depending on education and experience.

• Working five days a week (Monday to Friday), with a daily working time of 15:30 to 19:30, for a total of 4 hours.

• Working location is at No. 35, Cherry Street, Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong, with convenient transportation.

• No experience required, fresh graduates or working professionals are welcome to apply for part-time positions.
