Assist the shift controller at any time to handle all safety-related issues.
Monitor security systems such as closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, fire alarms, and others
Monitoring equipment, closely watching multiple screens or monitors, to detect any potential security vulnerabilities, suspicious activities or emergency situations.
React quickly to alarm triggers, unauthorized entry attempts, or any other security events.
Ensure initial allocation of available resources to respond, and ensure that responding security personnel understand the necessary actions specified in the standard operating procedures.
Judge the severity of the perceived threat and report to a higher operator for instructions.
As a preliminary point of contact for all safety-related matters, provide support to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain constant communication with on-site safety personnel, providing real-time information, instructions, and updates on safety incidents through wireless or telephone communication.
Contact external enforcement/emergency agencies (such as the police, customs or fire department) to coordinate responses and provide accurate information.
Maintain detailed records of all security-related activities. In the event management system/physical security information system/central control and monitoring system
Record events, alarms, responses, and any other relevant information in detail.
Assist senior operators in writing shift reports at the end of each shift. Night shift operators are required to compile daily status reports.
By conducting routine checks at the start of shifts, ensure that all safety control room equipment and systems are functioning normally, and report any technical issues, malfunctions or defects to senior operators in a timely manner.
Execute other responsibilities as instructed by the senior operator/shift controller.
Requirements:
Fifth grade or above education level, those with safety-related field certificates are preferred.
At least three (3) years of safety or law enforcement work experience. Those with prior experience in safety operations or control room monitoring are preferred.
Experience with safety systems, CCTV monitoring, or emergency response procedures will be helpful.
Preference will be given to those with fire protection systems, safety systems, and computer knowledge.
Need a solid concept of front-line safety actions, site safety, crowd/traffic management control, and problem-solving skills.
Preference will be given to those with prior experience and networks with local officials and law enforcement agencies.
Able to prioritize tasks and work in a diverse work environment.
Have good written and oral English and Chinese (Cantonese) communication skills.
Need shift work.
