Junior Cloud System Engineer; 5day, Kwai Chung

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Cloud System Engineer to join their IT team. In this role, you'll be responsible for deploying and maintaining scalable, high-availability systems on cloud platforms, primarily AWS. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their cloud career to gain hands-on experience with modern infrastructure in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, support, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud systems, primarily on AWS.

• Monitor cloud-based services and systems, and proactively resolve performance or availability issues.

• Assist in setting up and improving services on cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, and CDN/security tools.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support project and infrastructure needs.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.

• Provide technical support for cloud infrastructure and participate in troubleshooting tasks.

• Ensure system performance, cost-effectiveness, and quality assurance across cloud environments.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in systems engineering, technical support, or cloud operations.

• AWS certification and hands-on experience with AWS services.

• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and system architecture.

• Experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and techniques.

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Experience with web application cloud migration projects is a plus.
