Duties:
1. Provide research-based investment advice and manage the family office's investment portfolio to ensure it meets the established risk and return objectives.
2. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of existing and potential investments, including macro and microeconomic trends, market opportunities, and potential risks.
3. Monitor and report investment performance to ensure transparency and timely notification to family members.
4. Work closely with investment advisors, financial analysts and other professionals to ensure that investment strategies are implemented in line with best practices.
5. Perform daily management of the family asset investment portion and conduct due diligence on Hong Kong-qualified fund companies.
6. Prepare and present investment reports to the family council, providing clear communication on investment strategies and performance.
7. Monitor market dynamics, adjust investment strategies in response to market changes or family office needs.
8. Manage liquidity needs of investment portfolios, as well as matters related to taxation, law and estate planning.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, business management or related fields.
2. At least 10 years of relevant work experience, with a history of managing a broad investment portfolio.
3. In the field of private equity, venture capital or asset management, professional knowledge and experience.
4. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, able to handle complex financial models.
5. Strong communication skills, as well as written and oral reporting abilities.
6. Securities and investment-related professional certifications, such as CFA or CAIA, will be a plus.
7. Proficient in using investment analysis software such as Bloomberg or Morningstar.
8. Highly self-motivated, with excellent organizational and project management skills.
9. Have good judgment and decision-making skills, and be able to prioritize and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
10. Must have experience working in a diversified asset class, including but not limited to stocks, bonds, commodities, real estate, and alternative investments.
