3D printing production engineering assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform 3D model pre-processing operations, including model inspection, slicing settings, support generation, and printing parameter optimization.

• Execute post-processing work after printing: cleaning, removing support, sanding, surface treatment, assembly, and simple quality inspection.

• Assist in the improvement, testing and new equipment fabrication of 3D printers.

• Manage print consumables inventory, ensure materials are dry, classified and stored and maintain appropriate usage levels.

• Record production data, abnormal conditions and maintenance records, and assist the supervisor in improving production efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

• College degree or above, majoring in mechanical engineering, mechatronics integration, industrial design, materials forming, manufacturing engineering or related fields.

• Applicants with 3D printing-related practical experience are preferred, and outstanding fresh graduates can also be considered.

• Familiarity with at least one CAD modeling software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino or Tinkercad).

• Familiar with common 3D printing slicing software (Cura, PrusaSlicer, ChiTuBox, Simplify3D, etc.).

• Careful and responsible, able to work independently, with basic problem-solving and learning abilities.
