Painting technician

Job Responsibilities

• Independently responsible for wood surface painting work, including color selection and color adjustment, ensuring even and consistent color and meeting design requirements

• Execute the woodwork spray painting process, familiarize yourself with spray gun operation, and achieve a smooth, delicate, non-drip or orange peel finish

• Perform indoor and outdoor wall surface plastering, sanding and painting, ensuring a flat base, smooth corners and uniform paint film without defects

• Have 5 to 10 years of practical experience in varnishing, familiar with the painting standards and processes of residential, commercial and civil engineering

• Able to work independently, with on-site judgment and response ability, and able to complete key processes such as color adjustment, color correction, and touch-up paint on their own

• Proficient in the use of spray painting equipment (including HVLP spray guns), putty knife, sanding machine, roller, brush, etc. common painting tools and instruments

• Able to read simple diagrams, construction instructions and color card numbers, understand basic dimensioning and process requirements

• Must be a permanent resident of Hong Kong, meet the local construction site employment qualifications

• Salary range is HKD 140 to 170 per hour, with flexible negotiation space (refer to market level and personal experience)
