Property maintenance technician

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the installation, regular maintenance, fault repair and system testing of large-scale building equipment systems (especially plumbing engineering), ensuring the safe and stable operation of various facilities.

• Execute daily inspections and functional tests according to established procedures, accurately record inspection results, abnormal conditions, and corrective actions, and write clear and complete technical reports.

• Support 24-hour emergency maintenance service arrangements, according to the shift schedule to respond to sudden accidents, quickly respond to user repair requests, and complete on-site processing within the specified time limit.

• Closely cooperate with the maintenance team and other department colleagues, co-ordinate to implement work instructions and task allocation, and improve overall maintenance efficiency and service coordination.

• Provide clear explanations to residents, management offices and other stakeholders on the cause of the accident, the progress of the handling and the operating condition of the equipment, using Cantonese as the main communication language and supplementing it with simple English writing records.

• Have practical experience in water pipe engineering or related building equipment systems, familiar with common pipes, valves, pump groups and water supply system structures; those with no experience can also apply, and on-the-job training will be provided.

• Able to read and write Chinese, with basic English writing skills, able to communicate fluently in Cantonese, and those who understand Mandarin are better.

• Responsibility and team spirit, able to adapt to shift and long/short week work modes, including Saturday work and irregular emergency calls.

• Must be a permanent resident of Hong Kong, meeting the local employment and work visa related statutory requirements.

• Generous salary, monthly salary range from HKD 25,000 to 50,000, and salary can be negotiated based on experience and performance.
