Compliance Manager

<p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>We are an innovative fintech company specializing in cross-border payments, virtual prepaid cards, multi-currency settlements, and crypto-integrated payment solutions.</p><p>Our mission is to deliver secure, seamless, and cost-efficient payment experiences for global users, and to position our brand as a trusted leader in the fintech space.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Assist the company in complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal compliance policies.</li><li>Conduct regulatory research and keep abreast of new regulatory requirements issued by HKMA, SFC, and other relevant authorities.</li><li>Perform compliance reviews, monitoring, and inspections of business activities.</li><li>Assist in drafting compliance policies, internal reports, and regulatory submissions.</li><li>Oversee client onboarding processes to ensure regulatory KYC/AML standards are met.</li><li>Coordinate with regulators during inspections and audits.</li><li>Handle staff dealing reviews and monitoring for compliance.</li><li>Participate in ad-hoc compliance-related projects and assignments from time to time.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines.</li><li>Above 3+ years of compliance experience within banking, asset management, fintech, or financial institutions.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory landscape including SFC rules, HKMA guidelines, AML/CTF regulations.</li><li>Familiarity with licensing regimes including SFC Type 9 licensing is highly preferred.</li><li>Experience in applying for global compliance licenses across multiple jurisdictions is highly desirable.</li><li>Good communication skills in English and Cantonese; additional languages such as Mandarin are a plus.</li><li>High professional integrity, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.</li><li>Experience with global regulatory frameworks and compliance reviews in cross-border contexts is advantageous.</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Exciting and collaborative startup environment</li><li>Excellent company culture: give your best and grow as a person</li><li>A flat structure: your ideas get heard by the right people very quickly</li><li>Other leaves in addition to annual leaves, e.g. marriage leave, compassionate leave</li></ul>
