Position DescriptionJob Title: Event Space Installation Specialist (Project basis)

Job Objective
Primarily responsible for assembling, modifying and dismantling wood battening frameworks with accessories/fittings i.e. plywood, MDF Board, decking for exterior, interior floor, wall partition, leg clad, staircases, covering equipment, etc., at various projects site. Engagement is on a project basis with average terms of two to three (2 to 3) months.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Interior/Project Manager for type of material, areas and logistic preparation based on Structure pack drawings and CMJ drawing.
- Access to the work area for hazards and ensure ground conditions are stable.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams to determine sow requirements.
- Order and inspect materials needed for each project. Ensure quality control and minimize waste.
- Coordinate with site supervisor and other trades for mobilization, installation and dismantle work at site.
- Transport materials (wood materials and fittings etc.) to the designated work site.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials according to specifications and project requirements.
- Install wood battening framework for interior and exterior walls, Leg clads, stairs/steps, floor infill, slopping floor and Decking.
- Apply finishing fittings like netting, painted plywood to a frame wood surfaces.
- Repair and fix damaged woodwork in tent systems, walkway and staircases.
- Ensure that work adheres to safety regulations and building codes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections during and after installation.
- Work closely with other construction professionals, including contractors, electricians, and plumbers, to complete projects on time and to specifications.

- Knowledge of safety protocols and building codes.
- Ability to handle PPE, tools, equipment and machinery for installation and dismantling works.
- English is essential with a second language an advantage.
Education and Experience
- Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 5 years).
- Experience with specific carpentry fields (e.g., cabinetry, framing, finishing).
- High School, or Diploma in a related field.
- Construction or Event Industry experience an advantage.
- Spoken English even if not native tongue.
- Experience working at international golf events would be preferable.
- Flexible working time frames
