Job Description
We sincerely invite a creative, data-driven and execution-oriented social media market director, who will be fully responsible for the brand's social media strategy and content growth on platforms centered on Mainland China, including Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Dazhongdianping, WeChat and other relevant social platforms.
This position will be fully responsible for social media planning, from strategy formulation, content direction to effectiveness optimization, with emphasis on natural growth, interaction rate, and community management. You will play a key role in shaping brand voice and enhancing brand influence in China's digital ecosystem (especially the food and beverage industry).
Main responsibilities
1. Social media strategy and development
Develop and implement a social media strategy focusing on Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Dazhongdianping, and WeChat
Pushing for a Chinese market-oriented platform with fan numbers, interaction rate, reach rate, and brand exposure
Discover emerging platforms, content formats and trends, and seize opportunities among Chinese audiences
2. Content planning and production
Plan and manage content to ensure it meets the characteristics of each platform
Lead content direction, including shorts, features, story angles, scripts, and creative briefs
Collaborate with internal teams, content creators, production partners and KOLs to create high-quality content that aligns with our brand positioning
3. Data analysis and performance optimization
Monitor and analyze key indicators, including page views, engagement rate, follower growth, traffic, and conversion
Convert data into actionable insights, continuously optimize content strategy and publishing rhythm
Test new content formats, creative concepts and methods to maximize natural effectiveness
4. Trends, platforms and community management
Closely follow the algorithm, new features and content trends of Chinese mainland platforms
Conduct competitor and industry research to ensure the brand remains innovative and competitive
Establish and manage online communities to enhance brand trust, interaction and loyalty
Position requirements
1 year or above of social media or digital market promotion experience (with food and beverage experience is preferred)
In-depth understanding of Chinese platform algorithms, content trends, and best practices
Able to speak fluent Cantonese is preferred
