Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled R&D Test Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test strategies for new and existing products, ensuring high-quality standards in hardware/software development. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, hands-on testing experience, and a passion for innovation.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for R&D projects.
Perform functional, performance, reliability, and stress testing on prototypes and production systems.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Collaborate with R&D, firmware, and software teams to improve product quality.
Design and maintain automated test frameworks (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, Robot Framework).
Conduct failure analysis (FA) and root-cause investigations.
Validate compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, UL).
Generate test reports and provide feedback to engineering teams.
Continuously improve test methodologies and tools.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years of experience in R&D testing, QA, or validation engineering.
Hands-on experience with:
Test automation (Python, C/C++, Shell scripting).
Lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).
Embedded systems/IoT testing (preferred).
Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
