Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled R&D Test Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test strategies for new and existing products, ensuring high-quality standards in hardware/software development. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, hands-on testing experience, and a passion for innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for R&D projects.

• Perform functional, performance, reliability, and stress testing on prototypes and production systems.

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

• Collaborate with R&D, firmware, and software teams to improve product quality.

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, Robot Framework).

• Conduct failure analysis (FA) and root-cause investigations.

• Validate compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, UL).

• Generate test reports and provide feedback to engineering teams.

• Continuously improve test methodologies and tools.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in R&D testing, QA, or validation engineering.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Test automation (Python, C/C++, Shell scripting).

  • Lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).

  • Embedded systems/IoT testing (preferred).

• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
