IT Support Officer (6 Months Contract)

Our client, a leading IT solutions provider, specializes in resolving technical challenges and maintaining seamless IT operations for diverse businesses. They seek a Temporary IT Support Officer to assist with critical projects, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system efficiency.

Working Location: Multiple working locations (Depends)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the unboxing, installation, and disassembly of computer equipment in preparation for events.

• Assist in the configuration, testing, and maintenance of other related equipment.

• Responsible for the dismantling, packing, and recovery of related equipment after the event.

• Provide technical support for computer equipment at the event venue during the event, handle terminal hardware failures, and ensure stable operation of equipment throughout the event.

• Manage the operation and maintenance of other peripheral equipment at the event venue (including printers and networks), identify issues, and provide immediate solutions.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields

• At least one year of experience in computer operations and maintenance

• Basic networking knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and ability to quickly learn and master new equipment or systems

• Familiarity with Windows operating system, proficiency in basic hardware installation and configuration
