IT Assistant

Job Title: IT Assistant

• Responsible for the daily stable operation of the school's teaching and office information system, supporting the IT needs of adult learners and teachers, and ensuring the smooth operation of multimedia classrooms, computer labs, and online teaching platforms;

• Execute teaching technical support: Pre-class inspection of computers, projectors, speakers, electronic whiteboards, etc.; installation and configuration of teaching required software; assistance in technical construction and real-time support for live and recorded courses;

• Maintain campus network and infrastructure: manage wired/wireless networks, servers, access control systems and surveillance systems; regularly execute data backups (daily automatic backups + manual verification);

• Implement information security management: Regularly update firewall rules and antivirus software; review and manage account permissions; monitor network traffic for abnormal behavior and promptly report and address potential risks.

• Bachelor's degree, majoring in information technology, network engineering or related fields;

• Have 2 to 5 years of IT desktop support or system maintenance practical experience, working in educational institutions, training centers or similar service-oriented environments is particularly suitable;

• Have excellent communication and expression skills, be able to clearly explain technical concepts in Cantonese, and adapt to effective interaction with different age groups (especially adult students);

• Have a high sense of responsibility and on-the-spot problem-solving ability, and be able to respond and handle quickly according to the urgency (for example, equipment failure during class is the highest priority)

• Accept flexible work arrangements, including occasional on-call support during exams; must be a permanent resident of Hong Kong;

• Working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, in an office work mode.
