Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

* Conduct research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential design solutions, materials, and manufacturing processes.

* Design and create 3D models, drawings, and prototypes using Pro-E or Solidworks and other tools.

* Assist in mechanical and electronics installation.

* Design prototypes according to features and specifications.

* Provide technical support for experimental set-ups & trials.

* Conceptualize and develop new products or processes in collaboration with the R&D team and other stakeholders.

* Prepare mechanical drawings and industrial design drawings.

* Document all testing, design changes, and other relevant information in project reports and other documentation.

* Participate in design and project review meetings to provide updates and recommendations.

* Support all the trial runs in our Supplier factories.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.

* 5-8 years or above of experience in new product development in the area of Small Domestic Appliances. Candidates with less experience may be considered as Mechanical engineer.

* Proven experience in mechanical design, product development, and testing.

* Proficiency in using design software and other engineering tools, including Pro-E and Solidworks.

* Excellent communications and teamwork skills.

* Attention to details and ability to document and organize project information.

* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

* Experience in water proof design is a plus.

* Experience in fan blade design.

* Experience in developing products with filtration.

* Familiar with industry standards and regulations.

* Knowledge of 3D printing technology is a definite plus.

* Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

* Willing to travel to China.

5 days work per week, nice working environment in a dynamic field.
