We are seeking a motivated Operations Assistant to support our administrative, human resources, and compliance functions across multiple jurisdictions. This role is ideal for an organized professional looking to develop their skills in operations management while assisting with regulatory compliance in Hong Kong, BVI, and Cayman Islands.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
Assist with day-to-day administrative operations and office management tasks
Support implementation of operational policies and procedures
Coordinate with vendors and maintain vendor records
Assist in maintaining efficient office operations and expense tracking
Human Resources
Support HR operations including recruitment coordination, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with local labor laws
Assist with employee relations matters and performance management administration
Coordinate training sessions and professional development activities
Compliance
Assist in ensuring regulatory compliance across Hong Kong (including SFC regulations), BVI, and Cayman Islands jurisdictions
Support preparation of statutory filings, annual returns, and corporate registry submissions
Coordinate with corporate service providers and maintain communication records
Maintain organized corporate records and tracking systems for compliance deadlines
Monitor and track changes in regulatory requirements
Requirements
2-4 years of relevant experience in operations, administration, HR, or compliance support roles
Basic knowledge of Hong Kong employment regulations and corporate compliance requirements
Familiarity with or willingness to learn about BVI and Cayman Islands jurisdiction requirements
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new systems
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
Previous experience in corporate services, legal, or financial services industries
Exposure to corporate secretarial work and offshore structures
