Chief Technology Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall architecture design of OEX’s global financial infrastructure

• Build unified systems for accounts, wallets, settlement, risk engines, payments, and APIs

• Design high-availability, low-latency, high-concurrency distributed systems

• Drive AI-first infrastructure transformation across the organization

• Establish world-class engineering standards, DevOps systems, and security frameworks

• Build and manage global engineering teams across multiple regions

• Ensure scalability, stability, and security for global operations

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in executive leadership roles

• Proven experience building high-concurrency financial or trading systems

• Experience with AI infrastructure, automation systems, or AI-native architectures

• Strong leadership and organizational management capability

• Experience in crypto, fintech, trading platforms, payments, or banking infrastructure is highly preferred

1. Clearing & settlement systems

2. Wallet infrastructure

3. Distributed architecture

4. Microservices

5. Financial ledgers

6. API trading systems

Position Overview:

1. This role is not a traditional internet CTO position. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in high-concurrency financial systems, wallets, clearing & settlement, trading infrastructure, AI architecture, and global-scale platform engineering.

2. The CTO will play a critical role in building the foundational operating system for OEX’s future ecosystem.
