System Integration Developer (Front-end Temenos Project)

We are seeking an experienced System Integration Developer (Contractor) to support

data integration between the firm’s core trading platforms, wealth management systems,

mobile applications, and enterprise data lake. The ideal candidate will design and

maintain stable, secure, and efficient data exchange processes, while providing Level 2

production support and collaborating closely with infrastructure teams, business users,

and external vendors.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

· Working closely with the application team (Front office)

· Proficiency in RESTful API design, JSON/XML data transformation, SQL, and scripting using Python, .NET, or equivalent technologies.

· Solid experience with Azure Cloud, OpenShift, and containerized application

environments.

· Knowledge of Kafka or similar streaming technologies for real-time data processing.

· Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions) and automated rollout procedures.

· Strong skills in designing automated test units and performing system stress/load testing.

· Broad understanding of financial products (securities, derivatives, funds, structured

notes, bonds, ELI/ELN) and functional knowledge of trading across Hong Kong and

global markets.

· Writing clean and reusable code

· Embracing the ambiguity of research by constantly learning new technologies

· Collaborating in an agile, cross-functional team to rapidly deliver software systems

· Synthesizing customer requirements, prioritize solutions, and demonstrate the grit

needed to deliver exceptional value to the customer.

· ~5 years of experience in cloud development, migration and integration of application and services

· Ability to work with languages and frameworks including C#, JavaScript, HTML5, React

· Strong practical application development experience on Linux and Windows based

systems

· Experience integrating with wealth management or portfolio management systems.

· Working knowledge of data lake frameworks and mobile data interaction.

· Understanding of HK SFC and SG MAS regulatory and operational guidelines related to trading and wealth management systems.

· Exposure to brokerage or private banking operations
