The Sourcing Manager - Shenzhen

Responsible for collaborating with overseas global sourcing teams, Asia functional teams and suppliers to plan loading, secure program delivery based on required port dates and meet quality and product safety standards; and developing and implementing strategies, policies and processes to improve operations, costs and service that meet AG objectives and vision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and execute sourcing strategies and processes ensuring that sourcing actions and initiatives are in line with AG goals.

• Lead sourcing team to execute programs, achieve cost, quality and delivery requirements.

• Lead sourcing team to source and qualify new suppliers to cope with business strategies.

• Continuously develop suppliers and manage supplier’s performance, capacity and loading across all business units.

• Fully understand retailer and licensor compliance requirements and work with DI&QA team to ensure suppliers meet expectations.

• Source new products, materials, technology and collect updated market information relating to our products and share with internal team and oversea business unit.

• Identify cost saving opportunities in collaboration with suppliers and global business units, set up strategy and lead execution.

• Lead YOY cost negotiation with suppliers to achieve cost saving target.

• Closely collaborates with various Asia functional teams, overseas Business Units, suppliers and 3rd parties to ensure the team execute programs/projects and meet customers’ expectations.

• Bring in best practices and continuously improve Asia processes to drive efficiency.

• Effectively support the career development and performance management of the team to ensure job satisfaction and professional capability improvement.

• Complete other duties as assigned by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• Minimum 10 years of sourcing experience with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role. Sourcing experience in buying office is a must, experience in party goods is preferred.

• Must have sourcing experience in South-east Asia Countries and be willing to travel frequently in South-east Asia.

• Excellent communication skills across multiple job functions.

• Excellent negotiation skills.

• Solid knowledge of sourcing and strong sourcing network.

• Ability to multi-task on numerous projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

• Strong team-work spirit.

Proficient in English and Chinese.
