Assist senior research analysts in writing stock, industry, macro and thematic research reports on the Hong Kong stock market, the Greater China region and the virtual asset market, covering fundamental and quantitative analysis perspectives.
Collect, validate and manage financial, market, blockchain and on-chain datasets, ensuring data integrity, traceability and reproducibility.
Assist in building and updating financial models (DCF, relative valuation method) and token economic models (discounted token cash flow, network value model, etc.), supporting asset pricing and investment argument construction.
Instantly monitor major market events, including policy updates, regulatory trends, earnings announcements, broker reports, and protocol upgrades, and quickly summarize key information for research and trading teams to refer to.
Execute basic quantitative analysis and simple backtesting to validate cross-traditional and digital asset class trading ideas and investment hypotheses.
Assist in maintaining research schedules, distributing lists and compliance records, and meeting the regulatory requirements of Hong Kong licensed intermediary institutions for research publication and virtual asset advice.
Currently enrolled or recently graduated in finance, computer science, data science, economics, mathematics, statistics or related disciplines for bachelor's or master's degrees.
Have excellent academic performance and solid analytical skills, pay attention to details, and have clear logic.
Proficient in Excel (including financial functions, pivot tables; VBA is an added bonus).
Have financial modeling and valuation basics (such as DCF, relative valuation method); those with token economics or cryptocurrency asset valuation experience are preferred.
Master at least one programming language and data tool (Python/R/SQL); familiar with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Jupyter/Colab, workflow tools (Airflow/Prefect) are highly valued.
Have practical experience or strong interest in blockchain analysis and the virtual asset market; familiar with Etherscan, Glassnode, Dune, The Graph, etc. on-chain data sources, and understand DeFi core concepts and mainstream protocols especially.
Able to independently produce structurally clear written reports and PowerPoint presentations.
Adapt to the fast-paced trading and research environment, with multi-task processing ability and time management awareness.
Familiar with the operation of the Hong Kong and Greater China capital markets, and pay attention to the development of virtual asset supervision (such as SFC guidance, VASP framework)
English listening, speaking, reading and writing are fluent; Cantonese and/or Mandarin ability is an added bonus.
Must have the qualifications to legally work in Hong Kong (e.g. Hong Kong permanent resident, TTPS for top talent, QMAS for skilled professionals, IANG for non-local graduates, dependent visa or other valid work permit).
