Job Responsibilities

• Oversees research and development activities within an organization, driving innovation and ensuring projects align with company objectives. Manage continuous improvement, cost savings, hardware revision project and product.

• Lead teams of engineers, or developers to achieve project milestones, manage timelines, and prioritize based on strategic goals.

• Allocate resources efficiently, justify R&D spending.

• Work with marketing, production, and finance to transition products from development to market.

• Setting quality and production standards

• Leads effective project meeting.

• Develop positive team work and facilitate team collaboration across multiple functions.

• Ensure adherence to legal/regulatory standards and oversee patent filings.

• Stationed at PRC required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or related field) .

• Years of relevant experience in R&D, including managerial experience, experience in manufacturing.

• Demonstrate great teamwork and ability to interact across R&D and Manufacturing team.

• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and has effective problem-solving skillset.

• Solid understanding of product development process. Use the first principles approach to resolve deep technical challenges to unlock innovation.

• Hands on experience with CNC, tooling, molding, stamping, plating, assembly and dies.

• Expert level proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD modelling tools. Hands on experience with simulation tools and analysis techniques.

• Crisp communication skills to present to leadership and stakeholders as needed.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Putonghua
