Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior PE Teacher to join our dynamic team for the academic year*. In this position, you will have the opportunity to influence the futures of our students by designing and implementing engaging and high-quality FUN physical education programs for students ranging from Reception to Year 6. You will also have the chance to lead a separate Springboard PE class, encouraging physical activity and enhancing student engagement. Your responsibilities will encompass:
Planning and delivering high-quality FUN PE lessons that foster physical fitness and healthy living habits.
Teaching a variety of sports and physical activities to students of varying ages and abilities, ensuring inclusivity and engagement.
Motivating students to reach their full potential and cultivating a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.
Leading a separate Springboard PE class, offering additional opportunities for student involvement and development.
Evaluating and monitoring student progress to celebrate achievements and establish new objectives.
Collaborating with a supportive team to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum and support student well-being.
Encouraging student participation in extracurricular sports and activities, enriching their educational experience. Qualifications:
A degree in Physical Education or a related discipline.
Teaching certification.
A strong passion and commitment to education and the subject taught, accompanied by a positive outlook and a growth mindset.
Experience teaching a standards-based Physical Education curriculum.
