Risk Management Assistant Vice President

<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong><br>This is a strategic leadership role for an Assistant Vice President to shape the direction and governance of our credit guarantee schemes. The AVP will be responsible for portfolio-level risk oversight, policy development, and representing the function at a senior level.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide strategic oversight of the entire scheme portfolio, setting risk appetite and governance standards.</li><li>Spearhead the development and refinement of scheme policies and procedures based on macroeconomic and portfolio trends.</li><li>Present comprehensive risk reports and strategic recommendations to senior management and committees.</li><li>Represent the organization in high-level negotiations with participating lenders and regulatory bodies.</li><li>Drive innovation in risk modeling and analytical methodologies for the team.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Finance, MBA, or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is strongly preferred.</li><li>A minimum of <strong>10+ years of extensive, relevant experience</strong> in a senior commercial banking, risk management, or advisory capacity.</li><li>Deep, proven expertise in credit risk management and a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape for financial schemes.</li><li>A distinguished track record of strategic leadership, people management, and influencing key business decisions.</li><li>Outstanding executive-level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Visionary leader with the ability to drive the function forward in a dynamic environment.</li></ul><p><br></p>
