Senior Accountant

What you'll be doing

1. Oversee the booking of transactions for all operations within the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance
2. Prepare and analyze financial and operational data for weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs, as well as for monthly and year-end reports
3. Manage account schedules for month-end and year-end closing processes, including compliance with statutory requirements such as audits and taxes
4. Coordinate invoice matching for product supplier accounts payable from the operating system to the accounting system
5. Conduct variance analysis for customer accounts to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement
6. Perform P&L analysis to evaluate customer performance and profitability
7. Manage fixed assets, including tracking, valuation, and depreciation processes
8. Maintain system interfaces between the operation system (SCI) and the Accounting system (SunSystem).
9. Perform other related tasks as required to support the team

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. Minimum of 4 years in accounting-related roles, preferably within a China-based company
3. Proficient in accounting software (SunSystem) and MS Office applications
4. Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Good in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
7. Less experience would be considered as Accountant
