Assistant Safety Officer

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for construction site and related construction site safety management, including safety inspections, risk assessment and hidden trouble rectification;

• Plan and implement occupational safety and health and environmental management related training, enhance employees’ safety awareness and operational compliance;

• Participate in accident investigation and analysis, write accident reports and propose preventive improvement measures;

• Assist in the establishment, maintenance and optimization of quality management systems and environmental, health and safety management systems;

• Support internal and external management system audit work, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc. certification-related matters;

• Collaborate with project team to implement various safety and compliance requirements, ensuring compliance with Hong Kong's Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance and Factory and Industrial Undertaking Ordinance, etc. regulations

• Hold a safety, health, environmental, engineering, construction or scientific related associate degree/advanced diploma or above;

• Must hold a valid "Construction Safety Supervisor Certificate" and a "Green Card" for construction workers in Hong Kong;

• Have at least one year of professional safety and health (OHS) or EHS related work experience in the construction, engineering or industrial field;

• Preference will be given to those with ISO internal auditor qualifications or ISO 45001/14001 external auditor certificates;

• Proficient in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin for communication and document writing;
