As a UI/UX Designer Intern, you will be at the forefront of crafting the user interface and experience for our AI-powered tool, ensuring it delights users and reflects our brand’s commitment to harmony and innovation. You’ll collaborate closely with our Software Engineering team to design, test, and refine the app’s interface, gaining hands-on experience in UI/UX design at an exciting intersection of technology and cultural tradition.
Responsibilities
Design wireframes and prototypes: Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma or similar tools to visualize user flows and interfaces, developing skills in UI design and prototyping.
Conduct user research: Plan and execute usability tests, surveys, and user interviews to gather feedback on interface designs, building expertise in user-centric design.
Develop UI designs: Create visually appealing interface elements (e.g., layouts, color schemes, typography) that align with brand aesthetics, enhancing your visual design and branding skills.
Iterate based on feedback: Refine designs based on user testing insights and team input, learning iterative design processes to improve usability and engagement.
Collaborate with engineers: Work with the Software Engineer Intern to ensure designs are technically feasible and optimized for implementation, fostering technical collaboration.
Support user testing: Assist in testing prototypes for usability and functionality, developing skills in quality assurance and UX validation.
Create design assets: Produce reusable UI components (e.g., buttons, icons) and maintain a design system, improving efficiency in design workflows.
Analyze user behavior: Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to track user interactions during testing, gaining data-driven design insights.
Contribute to go-to-market materials: Design visuals for marketing assets (e.g., demo screenshots, landing page mockups), gaining exposure to product launch strategies.
Document design decisions: Maintain clear documentation of design rationale and user research findings, building technical communication skills.
