Job Title: Project Manager (Government Projects)
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage project delivery teams to achieve key revenue and profit objectives for major client accounts.
• Collaborate with the customer solution team during pre-tender, tender, or trial stages to secure new contracts.
• Oversee teams to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery to clients.
• Establish and maintain responsive relationships with clients, including problem reporting, escalation, and resolution processes.
• Identify and manage risks associated with customer change requests, understanding their implications on services, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor budgets and control costs to maximize revenue and margin achievement.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies relevant to the sector, collaborating with Lines of Business (LOBs) to build necessary competencies.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with key vendors and contractors to fulfill client requirements.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as the Customer Fronting Unit, and external groups to address current and future client needs.
• Provide technical and operational guidance for mobile applications and call center applications.
• Take over and manage existing projects efficiently.
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in large-scale application development projects.
• PMP certification is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects, specifically within the government sector.
• Experience in establishing or collaborating with offshore product/application development centers, ideally in South China.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with executive-level management.
• Client-focused approach, coupled with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to lead multiple teams to deliver reliable IT services.
• Commitment to continuous process improvement within teams.
• Demonstrated success in staff management, including recruitment, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Passion for innovative technologies and their application in project management.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
