Key Responsibilities
•
Identify and create specification opportunities early in the design process to secure product specifications, minimizing competitive bids during tenders.
•
Assist the sales team in proposing alternatives when competitors’ products are specified, supported by necessary documentation.
•
Achieve an annual Target Specification Value as defined, contributing to the overall goals of the Specification Team.
•
Work proactively with the sales team to convert specifications into sales, supporting the company’s annual budget targets.
•
Provide specification and technical support to the sales department, including reviewing method statements, case studies, and other technical or marketing materials as required.
•
Manage complaints by updating control logs, determining corrective actions, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely resolution and closure.
•
Contribute to the development of product marketing strategies and new product enhancements.
•
Assist in marketing and support activities assigned to the Technical & Specification Team, such as product training.
