Purchasing Officer

Job Title: Purchasing Officer

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Junior Purchasing Officer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling purchasing enquiries and project coordination with suppliers and partners

• Support product development by sourcing quotations and arranging samples per client requirements

• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of projects

• Manage cost control and budgeting throughout the development cycle

• Coordinate with internal departments to align project goals and progress

• Conduct procurement for amenity kits, textiles, and children’s products

• Track and manage shipment logistics with freight forwarders and factories

• Research and source new products as directed by the department

• Provide help with documentation and reports as part of the procurement process

Requirements

• Higher diploma or associate degree in Merchandising, Supply Chain, Textiles, or related fields

• 0–4 years of experience in purchasing or sourcing; experience in textiles, amenity products, or cosmetics is a plus

• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin

• Strong command of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities

• Proactive, eager to learn, and highly responsible
