ECM Director

Our client is a mid-sized Chinese brokerage firm with a strong mainland background, rapidly developing as a strategic platform in Hong Kong. The business focuses on Hong Kong stock IPO sponsorship, securities brokerage, asset management, etc., and holds various licenses issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission for regulated activities in categories 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 9. They are currently recruiting for the position of Director - Equity Capital Markets (ECM), with the following requirements:

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies and plans for ECM activities

2. Develop sources and investor capabilities for ECM

3. Conduct primary and secondary market ECM business

4. Develop and strengthen existing institutional and corporate client networks in Greater China to support equity products

5. Execute ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements:

1. Degree in finance or other related disciplines; CFA certification preferred

2. At least 5 to 10 years or more of experience in equity capital markets or related fields

3. Solid understanding of the equity capital markets in Hong Kong and China, as well as relevant rules and regulations

4. Good network relationships with portfolio and private equity funds, institutions, family offices, and other investors

5. Ability to introduce cornerstone investors or other active institutional investors for IPOs will be highly valued
